Odaiko New England (ONE) will perform during this year’s Festival on Saturday July 18th and Sunday July 19th. Don’t miss these exhilarating performances!
The first performance will be held on Saturday, July 18 at the Newport Yachting Center. Adult admission is $10 and children’s admission is $4. Doors will open at 4:30pm with a special introduction by Sumo Wrestler Manny Yarbrough and The Shishi Mai - the Lion Dance by Stephen Long. At 5pm Odaiko New England will take the stage with a mesmerizing performance. Odaiko New England (ONE) began drumming in 1994 and is fast becoming one of the premier taiko groups on the East Coast. By combining Japanese aesthetic sensibility with the bold American spirit, ONE is forging its own modern distinctive style and voice as it challenges the very definition of the art of taiko. The second performance will be held on Sunday, July 19th at 11:00 am, at Cardine’s Field. Admission will be $5 for adults and $4 for children. |

Disney's Epcot Center's Candy Artist Miyuki Sugimori will dazzle audiences as she makes mini masterpieces from candy in less than a minute! She is one of only 15 current candy artists from Japan.
Come watch Miyuki demonstrate candy artistry at 12pm and 2pm on Saturday, July 18th and at 12pm and 2pm on Sunday, July 19th at Brick Market. She will sweeten up your day with her beautiful and delicious candy creations! |

Not only is Manny the heaviest athlete in the World, he towers over most NBA basketball players at a height of 6’8”. |
