The Skating Center is an outdoor, ice skating facility offering public skating sessions, skate rentals, a full concessions menu, warming area, and free parking! 10:30,12:30&2:30 Scenic Train Rides- Old Colony/Newport Railroad 19 America's Cup Ave. Remember the days of old riding in heated vintage rail cars. Enjoy a 70-minute narrated trip through Newport Naval Station and along scenic Narragansett Bay. Trains may sell out, so arrive early for tickets or call 401-849-0546 for reservations. Best Yoga/Fitness Instructor in Newport County Contest- Potter & Co., 172 Thames Street, Newport, RI. Nominate your favorite yoga instructor, Pilates instructor, personal trainer or other certified fitness instructor to be voted Best in Newport County. Nominees must be certified by a recognized national authority for fitness training, yoga instruction or Pilates instruction. Nominations will be accepted from February 1st through February 16th. Nominations may be submitted in person at Potter & Co. or via email. Voting will take place during Newport Winter Festival, February 17th -24th and the winner will be announced on Saturday, February 25th.
