Newport County Chamber of Commerce Ton of Love Food Drive to benefit the Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Food Pantry. Help us fill our empty shopping carts with non-perishable food item donations, which aid the Newport County community. Participating locations are Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center, Webster Bank, YMCA, JT's Lumber, Sovereign Bank, Citizen's Bank, Liberty Tax Service, Newport Athletic Club, Buckley Heating & Cooling, Admiral's Gate, and Newport Chamber of Commerce.

Seal Watches Join the Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation and Save The Bay aboard M/V Aletta Morris on a 1-hr. cruise around Rose Island to observe the seals that haul-out near her rocky shores. Bring binoculars if you have them and dress warmly. Boat is partially enclosed, but can be chilly. All programs are weather-dependent. Reservations strongly recommended to ensure your spot. Save The Bay Exploration Center Aquarium 175 Memorial Blvd., Easton's Beach Rotunda.
